1951-53 561X0  Electrician- Maintained battery carts used to start DC motors
1953 425X0 Powerman - Maintained battery carts to start planes and generator sets for supplying power during maintenance. AFSC seemed to cover anything from aircraft jacks to oxygen carts and trailers. Additionally,  F-1 and F-4 aircraft heaters, (possible forerunner of the BT-400)

1957 -  Dave Kingman's personnel records indicate 47230 Apprentice Ground Power / Support Equipment Repairman, and 47250 Ground Power / Support Equipment Repairman. He recalls these AFSCs were related to the vehicle maintenance field, although our Ground Power Shop belonged to the flying group and was located by the flight line

In 1959 a set of orders converted Dave Kingman's AFSC from 47250 Ground Power and Support Equipment Repairman to 42153 Aircraft and Missile Ground Support Equipment Repairman

1985-88 423X5 While Gene Garzone was serving on Air Staff, in late 1984 he received a message from TAC.  The writer mentioned Flight line Support Equipment (FLSE), that was a time when nobody really knew what to call AGE and we answered to several different names.  Gene went to the policy branch of aircraft maintenance, and within a few weeks, the name AGE was reborn. 1985 is the year the Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic officially returned.
1988-93 454X1 Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic (Rivet workforce conversion)
1993- 2A6X2 Still Aerospace Ground Equipment but skill level titles changed to Apprentice,  Journeyman and Craftsman
