AGE "Old Meets New"

Is there an "Older Bobtail" still in service?

I took this picture last year (October 2004) in Austin Texas at Camp Mayberry Army National Guard base.  I believe this is one of the oldest bobtails.  It is a 1980 Chevrolet.  The first bobtail I have ever seen, was an 82 Ford.  If this is not the oldest bobtail, it is surely the oldest one still in military service.

-86 cable with a scuff cover from J&B Aviation. We have been using the scuff covers on our generators for about 6 months and the crew chiefs love them except when they try  to get them to stay on the unit. To remedy this problem we had Survival Equipment make some adjustable straps with quick release clips and installed on the unit using the existing cable rail hardware and the lower panel hardware to keep the cable on during transport from one location to another.

P.S.  Just in case anyone asks the flag was taken off prior to dispatch to the flight line.
